	The fishermen who caught megamouth 28 sliced off the fins, apparently to sell them in order to buy a new fishing net. The specimen appeared to be female, since there were no reports regarding the presence of claspers. This writer has not interviewed the fisherman, yet, but fishery offcials who talked to him said they found no claspers.
